Questions

GST Invoice FAQs

When do I charge CGST + SGST vs IGST?

If your state and the place of supply are the same, charge CGST and SGST (half each). If they differ, charge IGST. The generator does this automatically.

What fields are mandatory on a GST invoice?

Supplier name, address and GSTIN; invoice number (max 16 characters, unique per financial year) and date; recipient details; HSN/SAC; description; quantity; taxable value; tax rate and amount; place of supply; and signature.

Can I add a UPI QR to my invoice?

Yes. Enter your UPI ID and the invoice prints a QR with the amount filled in, so customers can pay by scanning.
