Questions

EDF Due Date Calculator FAQs

How is the EDF due date calculated?

Take the last day of the month in which the invoice was raised and add 30 days. October invoices → 30 November; January invoices → 2 March (or 1 March in a leap year).

Is there any alternative deadline?

For services other than software, the EDF may also be submitted on or before the date payment is received. Many exporters still file monthly to keep things simple.

How is the realisation deadline calculated?

Nine months from the invoice date for services invoiced in foreign currency, or twelve months for invoices in Indian rupees. The bank can extend it on request.
